 Product Information

Wellness Checkpoint® leverages technology to provide a health risk appraisal solution that engages respondents and delivers on point health and productivity data to corporate decision-makers.

 It's Solution Driven
The introduction of Wellness Checkpoint® offers product and strategic business benefits to your organization.
  • It is a wellness service with value-added related resources that focus on the link between health, benefits costs and productivity.

  • It offers a comprehensive decision support system that benchmarks and tracks metrics to assess organizational needs, and support and drive program and business level objectives.

HRA - Linking Lifestyle, Health & Work
The questions used for Wellness Checkpoint®'s health risk assessment cover topics related to the employee's lifestyle, health, and work.

While some of the topics form the core assessment, others are addressed through optional, supplemental assessment sections, which place health in the context of the business: organizational stress, productivity, depression, work demands, work/life issues and work safety.

For a detailed list of topics and data collected, contact InfoTech, Inc.

 Readiness to Change
An integral part of Wellness Checkpoint® is the measure of Readiness to Change based on James Prochaska's model of behavioral change. Not only can the data generated by Wellness Checkpoint® determine the prevalence of risk in your organization's employee population, our models factor propensity to change into the profiles of the at-risk groups. The ability to pinpoint those who are at risk and ready to change helps you to choose program interventions and project financial impacts.

When considering potential action, you will be able to balance risk and return on investment with your target groups' readiness to change. The Risk/Readiness snapshot and the ability to "dig deeper" into your data with Wellness Checkpoint® in-depth reporting tools should make it easier for you to decide where to allocate resources, how to track impact over time, and how to communicate the benefits.

American Institute for Preventive Medicine

InfoTech formed a strategic alliance with the American Institute for Preventive Medicine to offer a complete online self-care and wellness library to help your employees make informed decisions.

The Health Institute

The Work Limitations Questionnaire (WLQ) measures the degree to which health problems interfere with one's ability to perform job roles. WLQ scores quantify productivity loss on four scales reflecting lack of ability to meet the time management, mental/interpersonal, output, and physical demand of the job. The WLQ was developed by Debra Lerner, MS, PhD and Benjamin C. Amick III, PhD, at the Health Institute of the Tufts-New England Medical Center. Under a special licensing agreement, InfoTech offers the WLQ as an option in conjunction with Wellness Checkpoint®. Report configuration options allow cross-tabulation of WLQ indices with health risk and organizational factors, providing a valuable perspective on the costs of negative productivity.

Phyleon-Employee Assistance Services

The Work Experience Scan (WES) provides employees with an in-depth look at how the way they manage work-related stress affects their health and their ability to work effectively. Developed by both Phyleon and Dr. Theo Compernolle with the participation of global corporations including DuPont, the WES is an optional module offered with Wellness Checkpoint®.
